Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: Friday, April 11 - The Brydens Group supported by key brands Suppligen, No More, CeraVe, Kotex, Himalaya, Brut and Ammens will provide care packages to athletes representing Trinidad & Tobago at the upcoming Carifta Games. This initiative was spearheaded by national 400m sprinter Jereem Richards, who wanted to provide the athletes with a personal boost ahead of the April 19-23 Games. Each athlete package will include yoga mats, sport towels, toiletries and other branded supplies.

Speaking of the initiative, Head of Shared Services & Special Projects, The Brydens Group, Scott Franco said, “This was a no-brainer for us because like these athletes we too have regional and international aspirations. Their dreams and journey reflect our own, and we are excited to continue our partnership with Jereem by extending support to the national athletes who will don the red, black and white to compete at Carifta 2025.’’

Sprinter Jereem Richards emphasised the importance of broad-based support for national athletes saying,  ‘I’ve been where these athletes are, and I wanted to provide them with something that I didn’t necessarily have when I was coming through the ranks. I think it's important that we provide as much support as we can to the athletes ahead of the Games and throughout the event. I personally want to ask Trinidad & Tobago to come out and give our young athletes your support.”

The care packages were handed over to athletes and representatives of the National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago (NAAATT) on Friday April 11, at Brydens Headquarters, Ibis Avenue, San Juan.
