THE BRYDENS GROUP LAUNCHES ITS BIGGEST CONSUMER PROMOTION

Wednesday 06 December, Port of Spain – On Friday 1st December, the luxury BMW 3 Series was on display at One Woodbrook Place, Port of Spain, for the launch of the Johnnie Walker Code Black consumer promotion. One lucky winner will take home this fully loaded, high performance sedan valued at over TT$700,000 in the grand prize draw. Participants will also have a chance to win one of 12 weekly prizes valued at $1,000 each until the promotion ends on 31st January 2024.

 

“This is the largest consumer promotion that the Brydens Group Premium Beverages Division has launched since the pandemic,” said Christopher De Verteuil, Division Manager for Premium Beverages at the Brydens Group. “The scale of investment in this promotion is reflective of our company’s growth outlook, offering bigger, bolder executions to engage and excite the consumers who enjoy our brands.”

 

The Brydens Group, which celebrated 100 years of business in Trinidad & Tobago this year, is the distributor of choice for several internationally coveted brands and has a longstanding relationship with Diageo, the maker of Johnnie Walker whisky. To enter the Code Black promotion, purchasers can peel the sticker on the back of any specially coded bottle of Johnnie Walker to reveal and scan the unique QR code then fill out and submit the digital entry form. The promotion extends across the full Johnnie Walker portfolio.

 

On the new partnership with BMW, Daylene Ragoobar-Nandlal, Commercial Manager for Premium Beverages at The Brydens Group, explained, “BMW is one of our closely aligned partners with a shared vision of promoting responsible drinking. The Brydens Group intends to use all of its brand activations to increase public awareness about responsible drinking, bringing the message ‘don’t drink and drive’ to the forefront.”  The Johnnie Walker Code Black launch included a dedicated non-alcoholic ‘sober zone’ for patrons.
